PEOPLE ARE SCARED OF LAZINESS (2020)

‘People are scared of laziness’ is about small rebellious interruptions in a profit seeking economy. Inspired by artist Mladen Stilinović’s text ‘The Praise of Laziness’ (1993) it celebrates laziness as private, domestic, art.

Rather than avoidance or non-action, Rosa explores non-production as a form of resistance. The film is a playful illustration of public/private, vertical/horizontal, work/laziness.

3 minute film commissioned by New Creatives a co-funded by Arts Council England and BBC Arts.
