Rosa Postlethwaite or Possy (they/she) is a queer performance artist and dramaturg. They work across live art, dance, and theatre. Their work is bold, funny and whole-hearted.

Possy’s performance work spans a wide range of themes, illness, repair, institutional violence, ecological webs and colonialism. The performances are playfully resistant. They are spaces to connect and transform.
Possy’s dramaturgy practice focuses on context, working conditions, positionality, methods of practice, barriers to participation and potential social and ecological impact. They mobilise conversation, collective dreaming, and impulsive play.
They completed a PhD at Coventry University (UK, 2025) and Aarhus University (Denmark, 2026), researching dramaturgy with other-than-human species.
Past and present collaborations include: Hannah Walker, Lizzie Klotz, Exodus Crooks, Priya Mistry, Louise Orwin, Laurie Ramsell, Nicola Singh and Tessa Parr.
They have presented at GIFT, CLAY takeover at Edinburgh Fringe, Summerhall, Northern Stage, Ikon Gallery, Pleasance Theatre, Bio-arts Birmingham, Muffatwerk Munich (Germany), ICA Cape Town (South Africa) among other venues.
They have facilitated workshops at Baltic Contemporary, Vivid Projects, The Newbridge Project, Gylleboverket (Sweden), Peopling the Palace and more.
